This book was written by my Grandmother, Dot
Aldrich, in 1971, and sold over 63,000 copies. She was a Horticulturist, a Master Gardner and a
pioneer in flower and dried plant material arrangements. Her talent for making beauty out
of dried plant materials comes through in this book. If you appreciate nature you
will love the easy to follow steps on how to create her wonderful creatures and creations.

She was born on April 30, 1900 in Scranton,
PA. When she
was very young her family settled in upstate New York. She married a
dairy farmer, Raymont, who owned Aldrich Dairy. Together they raised 3 children, all girls.
Her family has republished her delightful book for others to
enjoy. Also available soon on CD ROM ($8.00), is a photograph collection of some of her favorite
creations.
